A modern city flat in a listed building from 1893. That was the basic idea for the renovation of this old building flat in Cologne’s Südstadt. We accompany Shari and André Dietz’s project from the beginning to the end, from the first consultation with our creative director and planner Joris Tummers to the moment of finalisation.

The own four walls are much more than just a place to live. We will take you on a trip to a feel-good oasis in the Eifel region.

A fresh interpretation with plenty of room for individuality. Our interior design consultants Marion Marx and Omar Muurmans have accompanied this project since the start of the refurbishment and have collaborated with the customers to create an impressive overall concept. Our story will show, what a contemporary interior can look like.

This winter Vitra be visiting three residences again: the loft of stylist Chris Glass, a house built by Walter Gropius that Barbara Happe and Martin Fischer have lovingly restored and the modern, ecological house of the Jüttner family. Each of these homes has a character of its own as well as a unique history unique – all underscored by the products from Vitra.
