Feeling truly at home

Visiting the Eifel region

Home story

A place to retreat to and relax after a stressful day. A place for the family. A place, where you celebrate the good things in life. The own four walls are much more than just a place to live. We will take you on a trip to a feel-good oasis. Our planner Sandy Meysters helped transform an interior into a home.

Mathes Homestory Eifeloase

Generously sized rooms, a warm wooden floor. Purist architecture and lots of light. The house offered plenty of options for a stylish interior. Planner Sandy sat down with the lady of the house to create a comprehensive concept. In person, on site. They planned every detail: from the little eye-catchers to the table, chair and sofa, all the way to a breath-taking light object in the stairwell. It should be glamorous, but also understated and elegant.

A home with plenty of character

A Baxter sofa with clean lines in a warm earthy hue creates an exciting dialogue with the bright spaces. The gorgeous white walls offer a wonderful backdrop where the smallest accessory makes a big impression. As do the voluminous glass sculptures in an iridescent blue. A day bed by Maxalto beckons with the promise of relaxing comfort – with the window open in summer or the cosy warmth of the fireplace in winter. All in all, the end result is a very pure look.

"An exciting project. As an interior architect it is always a treat for me to accompany people in their creation of a complete home. I thoroughly enjoy it."

Sandy Meysters, Grad. Interior Architect
