Bright, contemporary reinterpretation

A living space concept with endless options

Home story

Furnishing your own home is a very personal matter. That is why it is very important for our interior design experts to build an active rapport about the interior concept with their customers. This project entailed the complete redesign of an entire floor. The initial situation: plenty of space, an invitingly warm floor and inhabitants with a passion for accessories. Our interior design consultants Marion Marx and Omar Muurmans worked directly with the customers to open up new spaces, create exciting contrasts and expertly showcase treasured mementos.

Interior design full of contrasts

The kitchen is the most eye-catching element of the entire interior concept. The previously small space made way for an open and bright area. Contemporary lightness creates an exciting contrast-rich dialogue with the warm earth tone of the floor. MITO luminaires by Occhio create an airy, seemingly weightless lighting scenario. The lighting concept matches the mood of the straight-lined, minimalist appearance of the all-white kitchen interior. A CURVE BENCH by Riva picks up on the warmth of the floor, ensuring a seamless transition from the kitchen to the open plan living area.

Living space with endless options

The versatile use of illumination helps demarcates the harmoniously interconnected functional zones of the interior. Variations of the MITO luminaire by Occhio can therefore be found above the dining table and in the living room area as well. SAARINEN TULIP chairs a with matching SAARINEN dining table by Knoll International continue the interplay of the understated, white design and the warm floor.

Personalised comfort

A GROUNDPIECE sofa by Flexform elegantly creates an area for relaxation, rest, and social interaction with friends. Deliberately positioned details and unique one-off pieces demonstrate the heart-felt passion of the inhabitants for personalised interior design. A special highlight: The Roll & Hill ceiling light with three spherical pendant elements on delicate struts. Exclusivity is key at Roll & Hill. This luminaire is a one-off by the New York-based company, manufactured by hand based on a drawing our customer provided. A unique rug by cc-tapis, which was woven specifically according to the colour and shape preferences of the customer, rounds off the living area. Each individual piece is created by Tibetan artisans in Nepal, and demonstrates impressive sophistication and highest craftsmanship.

A stage for treasured objects

The inhabitants are passionate collectors of high-end accessories. The shelf system ZENIT by Rimadesio creates a perfect stage for these treasured objects. The clear, minimalist lines and seeming weightlessness of ZENIT captures the lightness of the overall concept. A very elegant version of the TAPE armchair by Minotti offers an oasis of comfort to retreat with a good book.

Stylishly highlighted classics

The guest bathroom is a conscious break with the rest of the interior concept. The black wall paint lends a golden hue to the light of the LE TRE STREGHE pendant light. This Bauhaus design classic by Tecnolumen therefore fits perfectly into the stylish ensemble of gold accents and eclectic accessories.

Unostentatious and pure

The coherent overall concept continues in the sleeping area as well. Bright, friendly colours and the newly recovered bed promise superior comfort. The GHOST sofa by Gervasoni adds a sleek note to the room, without overloading the senses in terms of colour and shape.

Understated and stylish comes to mind as a description of the overall concept. All in all, we worked our way from the large to the small to not lose track of the exciting details of the entire design. The many personalised highlights bear witness to our success. We have created a truly contemporary interior."
